We love hummus! Try this easy hummus recipe. We surrounded it with black olives, roasted red peppers, crumbled feta, tomatoes, and of course, toasted pita bread. We drizzled a little Goddess dressing over it! Yum!

I made this holiday salad for supper club and I’m going to add it to my Christmas Eve menu too. The pomegranate seeds are a juice box explosion in your mouth (except they are good for you). Pomegranates are only in season for about another month, so go get one and try it (as far as I know, you only eat the seeds). I also added some grapefruit segments, apple, jicama and a light vinaigrette of pom juice, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Sweet and delightful!
Tip on seeding the pomegranates: Just score the pomegranate around the center and break it open. Remove the seeds in a bowl of cold water (they will sink to the bottom) and then remove the white pith that remains on top of the water with a slotted spoon.

I have some mustard haters in my house (not me!), so I wasn’t sure about this one. Much to my delight, it got an A+ from my family (shh, I didn’t tell them about the mustard.) Only a few ingredients - perfect for a busy weeknight. It does call for 1/2 cup of cream. I usually sub non fat half-and-half for the heavy stuff, but decided to go for the real thing last night. I was already worried about the mustard issue. If you make this dish and use the non-fat cream, please let me know how it tastes!

if you love our Quick Chicken Lettuce Wraps you will love with a cherry on top these Slow Cooker Wraps. It is the perfect Family Friendly Friday meal when you are having another family over for dinner. Michelle and her crew came over last night and we all devoured them. It makes a huge batch (enough for 12) and everyone ate the same thing (no chicken nuggets or fish sticks needed for the kids). I served them up with veggie fried rice, mandarin oranges, hot decaf tea for the kids, a bottle of pinot grigio for the adults, and a decadent chocolate kahlua cake for dessert.

Check out this Hamilton Beach griddle! It gives you the space to cook pancakes, bacon and eggs for the whole family, without multiple burners and pans. And we love the easy clean-up; just remove the cord and put the whole griddle in the dishwasher. Comment on this blog to win and we will announce a winner on Friday, December 18th! Get ready to bust out some bacon and eggs! Yummers!
