• 1 pint(s) blueberries • 5 peach(es) • 1/4 cup(s) sugar • 3 tbsp cornstarch • 1/4 tsp nutmeg • 3/4 cup(s) flour • 3/4 cup(s) oatmeal, quick-cooking • 3/4 cup(s) brown sugar • 1/4 tsp baking powder • 1/4 tsp baking soda • 1/3 cup(s) butter, melted
|  | 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. 2. Wash and dry the fruit. Peel the peaches and slice the peaches into 1/2 inch thick pieces. 3. Combine regular sugar, cornstarch, nutmeg and a pinch of salt in a large bowl. Toss with the sliced peaches and blueberries. 4. For the topping - combine the flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder and melted butter. 5. Lightly butter or spray a 9 inch square metal pan. Spread the fruit into the pan. Sprinkle the oatmeal topping over the fruit. Bake until the fruit is bubbling in the center and the topping is brown and crisp, about 45 to 50 minutes. Serve warm. |
