• 1 lb broccoli, coarsely chopped • 1/2 cup(s) orange juice (fresh) • 2 shallot(s), thinly sliced • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
|  | 1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the broccoli until just tender, about 7 - 10 minutes. Drain. Transfer to a serving bowl. 2. Meanwhile, in a small skillet, combine the orange juice, shallots, vinegar and pepper flakes, if using; simmer over medium heat until reduced to 1/4 cup, 3 to 4 minutes. Spoon sauce over broccoli and serve.
