Servings: 4 - 6 Prep Time: 5 min. Cook Time: 3 hours We think the drumsticks are more tender and meaty than the wings. Keep adding butter to the wing sauce until it meets your "hot" detector. Another winner, winner, slow cooker dinner! |
• 2 lb chicken drumsticks • 12 oz wing sauce • 2 tbsp butter, with salt • 1/2 tsp garlic, minced • 1/2 cup(s) blue cheese salad dressing (red-fat)
| | 1. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray. Place drumsticks on sheet and broil for about 6 minutes until lightly browned.
2. Place drumsticks in slow cooker.
3. Combine wing sauce with 2 tbsp butter and 1/2 tsp garlic in a saute pan. Heat until butter melts. For milder sauce, keep adding butter, 1 tbsp at a time, until desired heat level.
4. Cover drumsticks with sauce and cook for about 3 hours on low (until tender but not completely falling off the bone).
5. Serve as an app or an entree with a side of blue cheese dressing (or ranch). |
