Chewy Oatmeal Cherry Toffee Crisps

If you like your cookies crunchy, remove them immediately from the baking sheet. For softer cookies, leave the cookies on the baking sheet for a minute or two.

• 1 1/2 cup(s) flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 cup(s) unsalted butter, softened
• 3/4 cup(s) brown sugar
• 3/4 cup(s) sugar
• 1 medium egg(s)
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 1/2 cup(s) rolled oats
• 1 cup(s) dried cherries
• 1 cup(s) miniature semi-sweet, chocolate chips
• 1 cup(s) toffee baking bits

1. Sift together flour and baking soda.

2. In mixer, beat butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla. Mix well.

3. Add flour mixture. Stir in oats, cherries, chocolate chips and toffee.

4. Divide dough into 3 portions and form into 3 logs (about 2 inches in diameter). Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate until firm.

5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice logs into 3/4 inch slices. Please 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.

6. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
