DIRECTIONS

• 18 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1/2 stick(s) unsalted butter
• 14 oz condensed, sweetened milk
image
1. Fill the bottom of the saucepan halfway with water.

2. Place chocolate chips, butter and condensed milk in a metal bowl and place on top of sauce pan (or use a double boiler). Stir. Turn the heat to medium low.

3. Slowly melt the chips, butter and condensed milk together, stirring occasionally (about 10 min.) until smooth.

4. Line an 8X8 glass baking dish with plastic wrap so that if flows over the sides. Pour the chocolate mixture into the baking dish (it won't melt the plastic wrap).

5. Let the fudge cool completely. Put in fridge for an hour or more.

6. Pull up the ends of the plastic wrap to remove the fudge from the pan. Transfer to cutting board. Use a pizza cutter to cut the fudge into 1 inch squares.

7. Serve up in a pretty box, tin or tupperware and give as a gift.

Note: You can use semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips.
