Is there an actual product called "sparkling limemade"? Or was this just a misspelling of limeade? If there is such a product, who makes it?

Sparkling Limeade is available in our local grocery stores (Ukrop's). Some other brands are Trader Joe's and Santa Cruz. If you can't find any, here is a quick recipe: 1 cup sugar 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice, (from about 8 limes) 1 quart seltzer water In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup water and sugar. Cook, stirring, over medium heat until sugar has dissolved and mixture is clear, 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer to a pitcher; cool. To serve, stir together sugar-water mixture, lime juice, and seltzer water. Pour over ice, and garnish with lime slices, if desired.

Thanks! I'm assuming the sparkling limeade from Ukrop's is a store brand. I'll have to pick some up the next time I'm in Richmond. Thanks for the recipe, however!!!

I like the recipe better using the "simple syrup" aka water and sugar combination mixed with seltzer or soda water. You get to gauge how much sugar. You can also use the "simple syrup" to make limeades for the kids (sugar/water combo + seltzer or soda water + lime juice from @ 1-2 limes). Just make sure you know which pitcher has alchohol in it :-). This may be somewhere else on the site as it's a You've Got Supper Recipe!
