Spicy Shrimp

Don't be intimidated by the long list of ingredients in this recipe. Most of the ingredients can be found in your pantry or spice cabinet.

DIRECTIONS

• 2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
• 3 slice(s) bacon, chopped
• 1/3 lb butter, with salt
• 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
• 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
• 1/4 tsp basil (dried)
• 1/2 tsp oregano
• 1 tsp pepper
• 2 clove(s) garlic, minced
• 2 tbsp old bay seasoning
• 1/2 tsp tabasco sauce
• 1 tbsp lemon juice (fresh)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook bacon in skillet (or microwave) and chop.

2. Simmer all ingredients (except for the shrimp) for 5 minutes.

3. Place mixture in a casserole dish. Add shrimp and bake for 20 – 30 minutes or until shrimp turns pink.

4. Serve shrimp and sauce over angel hair pasta or white rice.

Note: We like using crusty bread to dip in the spicy sauce.
