     Here are five YGS quickfire meals to get you back into the groove of planning your family dinners.  If your climate is like ours in Virginia, you'll need to take advantage of the last few weeks of the grill season with the Grilled Steak and Vegetable Platter, Grilled Shrimp Santa Fe Salad and the Grilled PLT.  We made these three meals over and over all summer long!

    School is right around the corner (or already here for some!), and we are going focus on fast, fresh, and tasty recipes for the Fall.   Work, sports, after-school activities, and homework can make getting dinner on the table tricky.  We will try to our best keep the prep time of our recipes to 30 minutes or less. And you'll see more slow-cook recipes this season too!

     Our heart heathy feature of the week is Sesame Pork Chops...and there's little prep time!  The Double Decker Sandwiches are ideal for a hectic weeknight or a weekend lunch.  And we like to pasta toss becasue it's a one meal dish - fast and fresh!

    Take a boring roast beef sandwich to the next level by adding sauteed onions and brie - yum!  Looking for a light, vegetarian dinner? Try the Cannelloni Bean Burgers. They are a little tricky to flip, so you have to grill them inside - the outdoor grill won't work. One of our favorites this week is the Chicken Paella.  A must-make!
